	Dr. Kalaja is lecturer at the Department of Social Work and Social Policy at the Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Tirana since 2005. She has a Masters’ Degree and Ph.D. in Social Work awarded by the Department of Social Work, Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Tirana. The main areas of interest and expertise are related to issues of gender and development and issues related to the promotion of human and children rights. Her experiences in these areas are enriched with qualitative and quantitative researches. Likewise it has a significant number of experiences as trainers and experts in the field of gender and issues related to the promotion of human and children rights, through studies, analyzes, manuals and national reports. She participated in many national and international scientific conferences in the field of social sciences and is author of articles published in professional and scientific magazines.
